Michael Bryant BSc, CEng, MICE
Michael’s early career covered residential, airports, London underground, tidal defences and bridges. His overseas work includes construction of the HSBC headquarters in Hong Kong and the World Bank integrated roads programme in Tanzania.
He joined the original Canary Wharf project team in 1987 to developing a logistics plan and took responsibility for the reconstruction of the DLR station.
In the BAA T5 client team he managed the planning, design and consents for the Piccadilly Line and Heathrow Express extensions.
He spent 10 years in consultancy, providing clients with strategic, technical and project management advice for PFI, major accommodation and transport projects.
In 2008 Michael returned to Canary Wharf as Operations Executive leading the team that delivered the Crossrail station at Canary Wharf. Under his guidance the team delivered the station to the Secretary of State and Crossrail four months ahead of schedule within the lump sum fixed price.View all Judges>
